Recruitment of Principal and Co-Principal
NBCI is poised to identify up to 5,000 – 10,000 African-American and Latino researchers who have an equivalent degree of a Ph.D. or an M.D. in the next five years. Prioritized by the Office of the Chief Clinical Czar and the National Clinical Strategy Task Force, identified individuals will be targeted from those states with high concentrations of diseases affecting African-Americans and Latinos
- NBCI will launch an evaluation program for the identified researchers to verify their interests and qualifications.
- Along with pharmaceutical partners, NBCI will create an educational session to provide information to interested researchers about the processes of becoming a principal or co-principal investigator in a clinical research study.
- Interested researchers must be a member of the National Medical Association, the National Hispanic Medical Association, the National Black Nurses Association, or the National Association of Hispanic Nurses.
- No independent researchers may apply to NBCI for clinical research assistance unless verified by the leadership of NBCI and the National Clinical Strategy Task Force.
If you are unsure whether you qualify to apply for clinical research assistance, please send an inquiry to the NBCI President at dcbci2002@gmail.com.
